Машқи 1. Ҷумлаҳои зеринро хонед ва тарҷума кунед:

4) She is a foreigner. So she needs a visa to stay in this country.

Машқи 5. Тарҷума кунед:

1. They watched him changing the program.
2. A man always wants a computer being not vulnerable.
3. I have just had the newest version installed.

Машқи 6. Тарҷума кунед:

1. Personal computers being widely used, their characteristics are improved.
2. The computers of the 1940’s being not reliable, scientists started improving them.
3. England being a constitutional monarchy, the Queen of England is only the formal ruler.

Машқи 7. Ҷумлаҳои зеринро тарҷума кунед:
They started arguing.

He gave up smoking.
He went on eating.
He continued eating.
It kept on raining.
We finished working at noon.

Машқи 8. Аз рӯи намуна ҷумлаҳоро пур кунед:
Model: advise you to read the book. The book is worth reading.

4. Remember his words. What he says is worth____

Машқи 9. Мувофиқи намуна савол гузоред:

Машқи 10. Ба забони англисӣ тарҷума кунед:

1. Ин песаро бояд тамошо кард.
2. Дар бораи ин воқеаҳо бояд ёдовар шуд.
3. Аз таваккал (риск) чи манфиат аст?
4. Аз беҳуда хобидан бароям чӣ манфиат аст?
5. Аз баҳсу мунозира чӣ нафъ аст?

Машқи 11. Ҷумлаҳои зеринро ба англисӣ тарҷума кунед:

1. Ӯро гоҳ-гоҳ ситоиш мекунанд.
2. Ӯро ҳатман таъриф мекунанд (will, praise).
3. Ҳоло ӯро мукофот медиҳанд (praise)
4. То он даме, ки ӯ асари асосиашро нависад, аллакай ӯро ду маротиба мукофот доданд,
5. Ӯро ҳатман то соли нав ҷоиза медиҳанд (praise).
6. Ин китобҳо паҳн мешаванд?
7. Мактубро пагоҳ мефиристанд.
8. Ӯро аз сабаби суръати баланд ҷарима ситониданд (speeding).
9. Дарро махкам карданд.

Машқи 12. Ба англисӣ тарҷума кунед:

1. Мегӯянд, ки ӯ барноманависи хуб аст.
2. Маълум аст, ки ӯ сардори хуб будааст.
3. Интизор буданд, ки масъалаи зерин ҳал мешавад.
4. Хабар медиҳанд, ки системаи нави оператсионӣ коркард шудааст.

Ҳолати мафъул метавонад бо феълҳои модалӣ низ якҷоя ояд:

• You might be sent to America by your company in August – Шуморо бояд аз ширкататон ба Амрико гусел мекарданд.
• This problem can be solved – Ин масъаларо метавон ҳал кард.
• This task should be fulfilled by the end of the week – Ин супориш бояд то охири ҳафта ҳалли худро ёбад.

Машқи 13. Ба зери калима ва ибораҳои ифодаги «тарзи мафъул» хат кашед ва ба ба ҷумлаҳо савол гузоред:
1)  The program is changed.
2)  The program is being changed.
3)  The program has been changed.
4)  Modern computers are widely used nowadays by small and big firms.
5)  The young engineer has been offered a new job by the company.
6)  The lab is being equipped with new devices.
7)  We were shown some new models.
8)  The data are referred to in the press.
9)  Perspectives of computerization are being much spoken about.
10) New types of devices are being made use of in the lab.
11) The test was followed by the experiments.
12) The results have been affected by the changed conditions.
13) The necessary results are approached but not got.
14) All the letters will be answered.

Машқи 14. Ҷумлаҳоро ба тоҷикӣ тарҷума кунед ва ҷумлаҳои тарзи мафъул надоштаро ҷудо кунед:

1. For a digital computer, information has to be in the form of digits or numbers.
2. Any information may be represented by the binary system.
3. Bits are grouped in units; these units are called bytes.
4. Which of the operations is to be performed next?
